AIR EXCHANGE MEETINGS
Mothers for Clean Air has joined with the Galveston-Houston Association for Smog Prevention to hold monthly, casual, informational meetings. Air Exchange Meetings begin with a social time and refreshments at 7:00 p.m. followed by an interactive dialogue with a guest speaker at 7:30 p.m. Meetings are held the third Thursday of the month at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 5308 Buffalo Speedway (at Bissonnet) in Houston. Please join us for these upcoming meetings and meet others who share an interest in clean air.

"EARTH DAY 5K"

The third annual Mothers for Clean Air Earth Day 5K is set for Saturday, April 19, 2008 at MacGregor Park near the University of Houston. In addition to the chip-timed 5K, there will be a 5K walk and 1K Kids’ Run to round out the event. The post-race party is shaping up to be a memorable event with environmental displays, fun clean air themed children’s activities, and great prizes.
If you would like to volunteer for this great event, send an e-mail to mfca@mothersforcleanair.org, and tell us how you would like to help. Volunteers are needed now to plan the event and also on April 19 to help with preparations and clean-up.
