Outreach

MfCA educates the public through:

• programs on air pollution topics
• a quarterly newsletter
• email notices of actions to take for clean air
• guest speakers
• information booths and hands-on children's activities at local festivals
• a clean air puppet show featuring Odious Ozone and Pesky Particulate
• special science fair awards for outstanding projects on air quality
• information resources.

MfCA reduces children's exposure to air pollution through:

• its No Ozone program in day care centers and elementary schools
• its Ozone Theater project for K - 2nd and 3rd- 5th graders
• a speakers program for parent organizations.

MfCA advocates for clean air through:

• representation on city and regional committees
• taking a position on issues related to air quality.

• chapter organizations in communities with high levels of air pollution
• empowering leaders to identify, prioritize, and begin to solve their EJ issues.
